As always, the Special Topic Weekends include plenty of time for sharing our stories, focusing on what really matters to us now, and benefiting from the meeting of minds and hearts that is so much a part of The Stories We Tell.

Do you get stuck with a problem that just goes round and round in your head? Are you experiencing difficult relationships, either at work or at home, which you have no idea how to resolve? Or maybe you're just feeling that you're blocked somewhere but can't put your finger on what's wrong.

This weekend is about taking an imaginative and creative approach to problems—by side-stepping the logical, rational left brain and inner critic. Through the use of imagery, metaphor and symbolism we can access our right brain intelligence to gain perspective and insight, and often resolutions will emerge from these more unconscious processes. We are often surprised, and delighted, at how powerful these exercises can be!

On this workshop we'll be making more of some of the techniques and tools you'll be familiar with and also introducing new ones:

* automatic writing, metaphor descriptions, fairy tales

* visualisations, 'focusing' and working with the 'felt sense'

* art and craft materials, including playdough and collage

* pebble constellations

We might say that if something shifts in the world of our imagination, then something also shifts psychically and this can lead to transformation without necessarily needing to do something.

Are you leading your life according to your heart's wisdom? As the title suggests, this weekend is an invitation to seize the moment! The workshop is about taking stock, exploring your values and beliefs, looking at what really matters to you now, and what gets in the way of you living your life with as much integrity and authenticity as you can ... and what you can do about it.

As usual on our workshops there'll be a mix of right and left brain exercises, spontaneous writing and use of metaphor and imagery. We'll be exploring the stories we tell ourselves about our lives so far and our expectations and our hopes for the future.

We'll look at our work/life balance, how to nourish all aspects of ourselves, become more grounded and integrated so we can make the most of what we already have and also work towards where we want to be.  We'll be focusing on how to accept the difficulties and issues we struggle with, perhaps from the past, and how to make room for more spontaneity and creativity to move forward.

We'll also be celebrating achievements and the journey so far! You may already have done this workshop (Part 5 in the old programme), but it can be helpful to repeat some of exercises and gain new insights. So if you are wanting some help in taking stock or getting unstuck, then do join us!
